Full description. Peripateo: Living the Word of God is a quiet Bible reader. Search or jump by book, chapter, and verse. Tap a verse for the interlinear and Strong’s. Keep private notes. Make a verse card on a painted ground or your own photograph (nudity and vulgar language are blocked). Listen with four voices. Test Your Walk is a ten-question round at five levels. Type, size, and colors — including light and dark — are yours to set. An account is optional. A gift of $5–$20 is optional and unlocks nothing. English is the World English Bible and the King James Version (both public domain). Hebrew and Greek come from MorphHB and SBLGNT under Creative Commons licenses.

English is the World English Bible, with the King James Version beside it. Both texts are in the public domain. “World English Bible” is a trademark of eBible.org, used here only to identify that unaltered translation. Peripateo is not affiliated with eBible.org.

Hebrew comes from the Westminster Leningrad Codex, morphologically tagged by Open Scriptures MorphHB (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike). Greek comes from the SBL Greek New Testament as published in Clear Bible Macula (Creative Commons Attribution). Word glosses draw on Strong’s dictionaries and Macula; Strong’s data is offered under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike.

Topical lists are original verse selections, not a licensed topical Bible. Interlinear layout is ours; the underlying words remain under the licenses above.

Quiz questions are original, drawn from the World English Bible text and from Strong’s dictionaries (the same public-domain and Creative Commons sources as the reader). They are not a licensed trivia product.

Type, icons, and mark

Reader typefaces are EB Garamond and Merriweather (Google Fonts, SIL Open Font License), plus the common faces already on your device: Georgia, Times New Roman, Palatino, and Arial. Hebrew is Frank Ruhl Libre (SIL Open Font License). Interface icons are Lucide (ISC License). The sandal mark is an original painting of a first-century Judean sandal, drawn for Peripateo: Living the Word of God.
